VELUX Flashing Systems
A crucial part of of any skylight installation is the flashing system. VELUX flashing systems are designed to shed water without relying on sealants that can break down over time. We offer a variety of flashing systems to ensure a weather tight fit for most roof types with a pitch of 15-90°.
Tile & Corrugated Iron Roofs - EDW

- Flashing for installing one Skylight in a tile or corrugated iron roofing (not suitable for metal profiles such as Klip-Lok, Trimdeck, etc).
- The patented apron flashing piece features pliable pleats that can be easily formed to most types and heights of roofing.
- Side and head flashing pieces form a gutter which directs water away from the Skylight and off the roof.
Slate Roofs - EDL

- Flashings for installing one Skylight in flat profile roofing material up to 8mm thick
eg: shingle, slate
- Each piece of Soaker flashing is interwoven with a layer of roofing material for proper water drainage.
Combi Flashing for Multiple Skylights

- Combination flashings allow for large installations of multiple skylights.
- This modular system allows easy installation of an unlimited number of skylights closely together to dramatically transform interior spaces with daylight.
- Combi flashing systems require a space between skylight frames equal to 100mm.
